‘Casa e Jardim’ is Portuguese for ‘Home and Garden’.
We are a furniture shop with collections of beautiful, high quality, contemporary furniture, made in Europe.
Our showroom is in the central Algarve and we install Algarve-wide.
Casa e Jardim provide an interior design service and we have our own ‘in-house’ atelier where we make curtains and soft furnishings to an exemplary standard to complete your Algarve home.
We are characterised by a contemporary and individual approach to furnishing your home not found elsewhere on the Algarve.

We describe it as our rustic range. Ethnicraft has a unique simplicity and charm yet is modern, robust and very well made.
Ideal for Algarve interiors, looking particularly at home in farmhouse conversions and apartments.

Ethnicraft ranges are on display in our central Algarve showroom where you will find it listed at the best Algarve price.

The basement has a range of bedroom layouts with all types of beds and our complete range of mattresses.
For the exterior we feature our most popular ranges in a selection of structure types.
In our basement atelier you will see our talented girls making curtains, blinds and other soft upholstery.

Two new sofa collections for 2026.

Exclusive to C&J, Made in Portugal and coming to the showroom soon

For 2026 we have two exciting new sofa ranges. Both will be featured as permanent showroom displays.

We are introducing these ranges as a more economical alternative to our luxury Joquer brand.

2 seater sofa models start at less than €2000 and a 2 seater + chaise is only €3120

The economic price point belies the quality. These sofas have multiple foam layers of high density polyurethane foam and back cushions with microfibre filling.

In particular the fabrics we have chosen to represent on the ranges come from Crevin (Barcelona), class leading high end technical weaves.

Two of our new 2026 sofa ranges are proudly made in the north of Portugal.
Using Crevin® fabrics from Barcelona and the expertise of craftsmen from the famous furniture producing area of 'Paços de Ferreira' in the Porto region, north of Portugal.

Sometimes referred to as the Capital do Móvel (capital of furniture), owing to the predominance of this industry within its territory, the municipality of Paços de Ferreira has around 5000 companies producing furniture and has the biggest exhibition and selling area (estimated in 2.5 million square meters) of furniture in Europe.

Globus Chairs at the Selllva Restaurant Lisbon

We recently had the pleasure to dine at a relatively new restaurant in Lisbon called Selllva.
Selllva is a vegetarian restaurant, centrally located, and we had a beautiful meal at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

One of the reasons we picked Selllva to dine on our brief visit was because they had chosen our Globus chair by Stua for their dining chairs. In the case of Selllva the chair was finished in natural oak with an upholstered seat in the remarkable artificial leather called Tokyo from Portuguese manufacturer Elastron.

We have always loved the Globus chair at C&J and it's popular with clients.

But what better test than to use it for an hour and a half of continuous sitting where it proved to be every bit as comfortable as it is stylish and elegant.

In our Algarve showroom we have 3 different examples of the Globus range:
