In 1921, Bernard Albin Grass designed a series of lamps for the use in offices and in industrial environments. The Gras-lamp, as it was subsequently called, was astounding in its simple, robust and very ergonomic design: there are neither screws nor welded joints in the basic form. Early on, Le Corbusier was seduced by the modern design and user-friendliness of the lamps and became one of Bernard-Albin Grass' most enthusiastic supporters, using the lamps in his own offices.
Two versions of the supsension lamps are available and can be combined to form striking geometrical compositions.
Model 322 features two 'straight down' supports/cables of up to 300cm in length.
Model 323 features two supports/cables that are separated by a chosen distance in the ceiling. Multiple 323 models are particularly stunning.
Shades can be Round L, Round XL, Conic L, Conic XL and Oculist.
A separate ceiling fitting and cable pack is available for connection to a more remote point.
