Poufs at Casa & Jardim

Laika Poufs can be used as a seat, a side table, a coffee table or bedside. Laika provides a touch of colour and comfort to the spaces where it is placed. They provide a pleasant seat due to the quality of the foam lining covering its timber frame. The quality and colours of the fabrics in which they can be upholstered is varied. They are manufactured in a wide range of sizes (diameter 60, 70, 92, 102 and 140 cm) and as such can accommodate large and small spaces.

The Designer

Silvia Tauschke

After completing her studies in Applied Arts and Artistic Professions, specialising in Industrial Design at the School of Design in San Sebastian, and having completed the advanced course in Industrial Design and Product Development at DZ in Bilbao, she has worked in design studios in Barcelona and Bilbao, mainly in product design. In 2000, she started designing at Treku and her designs presented at fairs in Valencia, Cologne and Milan include the Kare range of sideboards, the Ara bed and Laika poufs. Her designs, in balanced volumes, are warm and timeless.
She has been part of TARTE, the team responsible for managing the design of the Treku product range as well as designing the stands for trade fairs and coordinating the preparation of catalogues.
