Description

Solid wood design brings nature and refinement into any space. Smooth, hand polished surfaces and fluid lines – catering to both tactile and visual senses.
Storage unit’s body, as well as all inside shelves, drawers, fronts and legs are made of solid wood - oak, except storage unit back panel and drawer bottom panels which are made of oak veneered high-density fibreboard.

The Fawn Lowboard is available with two or three push to open drawers for storage. The two drawer version comes equipped with a cable routing hole in the center, excellent for organising AV units.

Available in two plant-based Hardwax oil finishes (colours), which retain the wood’s natural state, as a white or natural oil.
Solid oak front panels have wooden stiffeners on the inside which prevent minor changes in the dimensions of the wooden parts over time due to the hygroscopy.

When Salih walks into a room, his energy is infectious. He puts passion and emotion into every design, and aims to create products that people truly love. Our workshop is Salih’s favourite place, and his pencil is his favourite tool.

Salih is one of the reasons we focus on natural materials in our Gazzda products. He is internationally renowned for pushing the technological boundaries of wooden design furniture and helps many appreciate that magical moment when they touch a finely crafted product detail for the first time.

Salih shares his passion outside of Gazzda as well. He has been teaching industrial design to promising youngsters since 2004 as a tenured professor at the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts. Among his students, Salih’s near-obsession with wood is so well known, they affectionately call him ‘Geppetto’.

When he’s not creating beautiful designs in our prototype workshop, you’re most likely to find Salih spending time with his family, or drinking his beloved Bosnian coffee in a café in downtown Sarajevo.
