Description

The City lounging collection features 3 seating solutions and 4 coffee tables made from aluminium with teak arms. These armchairs, sofas and tables are modern yet extremely comfortable, characterised by a slightly retro appeal.

The grade A teak from Asia with a particularly high content of gum and natural oil is the best possible wood option for exterior furniture. Yet maintenance is reduced by using a lacquered aluminium frame. The addition of a rope backing continues the evolution of this material as an alternative to the traditional, but somewhat dated, rattan stalwart.

The Designer - Chrisophe Pillet

Christophe Pillet is a renowned French designer, who after graduating from the Decorative Arts School in Nice and finalizing his Masters in the Domus Academy in Milan has conquered the world with his elegant, sensual creations. Also known as the design director for Lacoste, Pillet is best recognized for his refined furniture design and interior architecture.

The lounging City range includes 2 sofas an armchair and 4 sizes of coffee table.

The base cushion of the City range features the innovative 'Goodside' flexible band system from Germany.

A high-tech method of suspension with fibre- glass-reinforced polypropylene slats.

This suspension design eliminates the need for a solid base structure and features slats combined with foam.
The slats are inserted between two layers of foam giving unparalleled support and strength with flexibility for comfort.

An industry leading 12 mm thick porcelaneous material.
Technical characteristics: Waterproof and resistant to liquids, with an absorption level close to zero. Scratch and abrasion resistant thanks to the hardness of the surface.
No combustion takes place if in contact with fire and no smoke nor toxic substances are released when it is subjected to high temperatures. Resistant to any type of chemical or cleaning agent. No dangerous substances are given off. It is totally apt for contact with foodstuffs. NSF Certificate. Being 100% natural, colours do not fade when exposed to the sun or subjected to extreme meteorological conditions.
