Description

As its name implies, the “Lento” collection (Italian for slow) is all about taking it slow. Enjoying la dolce vita while doing things that are important to you is exactly what Belgian designer Bertrand Lejoly had in mind when designing the Lento collection.

The Lento lounging collection features 4 seating solutions and 3 coffee tables made from aluminium with teak legs. A modular connecting side table enables innovative modular layouts to be composed .

The eye-catching outdoor furniture pieces are characterized by a mix of natural teak wood, tactile polypropylene rope and comfortable cushions united in low-slung designs.

The Designer - Bertrand Lejoly

After studying at the École supérieure des arts Saint-Luc in Liège and several years of work experience in Germany and Italy, Bertrand Lejoly joined in 2013 Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen as Head of Product Design. In 2018 he founded his own design studio in Antwerp.
He describes his style as ‘refined simplicity’. His objects walk the boundary between an expressive yet subtle design language. He especially likes to play with elements that are engraved in the collective memory to create timeless items for everyday use.
