Synthetic rattan is a man-made version of natural rattan that is used extensively in modern furniture production techniques in particular in exterior furniture. Synthetic rattan has higher weather resilience to the natural version.

Synthetic rattan varies greatly in type and quality and this variation determines the feel, look, longevity and purchase price of yuor exterior furniture.

The new fibre has greater resistance to weather changes and everyday use. It is also very flexible, which provides great comfort to all parts and pieces. Likewise, it is also recyclable; a very important feature that gives a differential value compared to the majority of materials already existing in the market. Much of the poorer quality, fine and low density rattan fibres on the market will quickly disappoint sometimes even breaking completely after only a few years of exposure.
